Exhibit Cancellation Policy - For exhibit cancellations received more than 60 days prior to the conference, VCIA maintains a cancellation penalty of 50% of the exhibit fees. If the cancellation is received less than 60 days from the first day of the conference, no refunds will be issued. Cancellation requests must be received in writing either by mail, email or fax.

PIAA Position - The PIAA believes the ramifications of the new reporting requirements need to be better understood by Congress before federal rules are promulgated. As such, the PIAA will be reaching out to Members of Congress to seek adjustments/clarifications in the recently passed language. Another Medicare reimbursement bill must be completed within six months, and this may provide an opportunity for corrections to be made as part of that legislation. In addition, the PIAA will be actively involved in the federal rulemaking process to limit any negative ramifications should legislative changes not be enacted.( duane castles piaa)

Duane Castles - Chief Executive Officer: Captive Insurance Company: A closely held insurance company whose insurance business is primarily supplied by and controlled by owners, and in which the original insureds are the principal beneficiaries. The insureds have direct involvement and influence over the company's or group’s major operations, including underwriting, claims, management policy, and investments. There are currently over 4,000 captives licensed worldwide, serving their parents' risk financing needs. In Vermont, that figure is 754 (as of December 2005)

He was also a member of the advisory committee for the Arizona Department of Health, a member of the board of the Arizona Foundation for Medical Care, andmember of the liaison committee between the Maricopa County Bar Association and ArizonaMedical Association. DUANE CASTLES completed a three-year term on the PIAA Board ofDirectors as vice chair.
